Psychological Level

Every person’s brain generates instinctual, emotional, and cognitive motivations that shape that person’s psychology. Some characteristics of this psychology are common to all human beings, but others are unique to each individual.

This site attempts to explore all aspects of this psychological level of human brain activity, including observable behaviours (walking, speaking, sleeping), perception (seeing, touching, hallucinating), cognition (remembering, calculating, understanding), affect (loving, laughing, being afraid), and subjective experiences (dreaming, suffering, imagining).

To explore these areas, we will draw on such disciplines as primatology, ethology, psychology, psychiatry, and philosophy.
